As we look at our scripture for Easter Sunday 2019 (Psalm 24:1-10), the title of the message is "The Crown". Of the three psalms that are strategically located side-by-side of one another (22,23,24) the 24th Psalm is the least known and preached on. It has been called a Messianic Psalm, but to the best of my knowledge, not one verse of this psalm is quoted even once in the New Testament. David pens this psalm as he remembers the pomp and circumstance within Jerusalem as the Ark of the Covenant made its way back into Jerusalem in 2 Samuel 6. But one ominous question stares every reader in the face when David asks, "Who is this King of Glory?" David gave his answer in verse 10.
